 The Baroque Brass Quintet was founded by Oleg Demianyk in 1996. The present cast was formed in 1998. At first the group gathered and made music for its own pleasure. Then the quintet successfully played for passing-out examinations at the conservatory. The group successfully concerted at St. Petersburg and other Russian cities. The Baroque Brass Quintet played in Germany, Holland, Finland, Sweden, and the Great Britain. Three CD are recorded. The quintet performs various music - from early baroque up to classical Jazz, from counter-points of Bach to polka of Strauss, from anonymous authors to works of modern St. Petersburg composers.
